About Us

Based in Weehawken, NJ- Outtake Productions was founded by Melissa Malone & Theresa Labreglio. 

Before Outtake Productions formed as a production company, it was an after school workshop ("Outtakes") that taught teen filmmaking using hands on experience.

From there, the workshop exploded into a full fledged web series production and with it, Outtake Productions began. 

Today Outtake Productions is best know for the award winning teen horror series "Or So the Story Goes," the mockumentary "Block Watch," and the southern gothic-thriller "Kith & Kin," as well as numerous short films and collaborations.
