Theresa was the cofounder of Outtake Productions. She studied Theater/Media at Fordham University and was a proud member of AEA. She worked as a Production Stage Manager for regional theater, as well the NYC Fringe Festival. Theresa also currently worked as a line-editor and editorial assistant in NYC. She is best known for her work as the director/writer on the series, Or So the Story Goes, Block Watch and short films The Angry Man and Best of Fest. Theresa was the fearless champion of Outtake Productions. She always led with a steady, comforting hand, made each person feel like they could accomplish anything and was the one to implement on set family dinners- all while bringing to life characters and worlds we will never forget. We always imagined we continue the heart song that was filmmaking far into our prime. Unfortunately, 2020 had new plans for us and we never imagined she wouldn't be here to continue that legacy. When she passed away, unexpectedly, it became clear that our team would continue this journey with her in our hearts. She is here, in everything we do, every step of the way and I hope she's so very proud. -Melissa Malone |
